Been struggling along getting freelance jobs here and there, sending out tons of resumes. Couple contacts. If you need any help with anything at all design or advertising give me a shout!
Here’s some San Pasqual High merch I did.
Also we adopted a lil rescue buddy. Ivy really got the short end of this pic. She named him Lord Fluffy.
If you’re in Escondido or anywhere in North County give me a holler, I am an experienced graphic artist, photographer, videographer, editor, copy writer, advertiser, marketer, and so on and so forth. If it’s advertising & marketing I’ve done it. I’ll even host your website!
My friend Anabel asked me to do a little illustration for her band El Consumption in a Sailor Jerry style. It was pretty fun to do. I didn’t take it to final-final form because they didn’t need it (and it was a freebie). I did a poster for them as well, and a little rough piece of concept art that was interesting but we didn’t end up using.
My friend is starting up a new business and contracted me to develop her logo and color palette. This is some of my favorite kind of work, because I get to help a client get to where they want to be, translate their own personal visual language, as it were, into something out in the real world. It’s very gratifying for a client to say “that’s exactly what I was thinking”, or, just as much, “I wasn’t think of that at all, but it’s perfect!”
My pal Jeremy got his contractor’s license not too long ago, so I whipped up a logo for his company, Greenbow Construction. I like how it turned out.
Here’s Jerm with his new little baby, Kate:
I did a little icon design for a client. I thought it came out well.
Here’s round one. It’s supposed to indicate something. Can you tell what it is?
After that they asked for another round with a little direction (they picked other icons they liked and told me about them):
They liked “F”, so I did up a whole series of icons for other things for them.
I think they came out well for “simple” icons. Funny how hard simple can be, though
Did a few banners recently, I thought they turned out well.
That’s one of ’em. They seem happy with the banners, and I’m good with them. Any thoughts?
